Throughout history, sacred spaces have been created to hold stillness, presence, and connection—with the divine, with the earth, and with ourselves. At the heart of many of these spaces lie two simple forms: the square and the circle. The square represents earth and stability, while the circle symbolizes wholeness and spirit. Together, they form the foundation of sacred architecture and the essence of mandalas across traditions.
In this session, we explore how these shapes become containers for the sacred. Through the mandala process, we’ll begin to create our own inner sanctuaries—spaces of reflection, balance, and quiet power.
Drawing mandalas can be a meditative, calming experience to access and tap into your inner being enabling one to find the “center” within. Mandala as a tool can help one bring inner balance, relieve stress and guide one along the path of self-knowledge.
In this workshop, we learn and work with sacred geometry, colour resonances, journaling, breathing, music and visualisation. Delving deep within one-self, we connect to the “centre” within – a place of beauty, peace, joy and co-creation.
This is part of a series of exploratory workshops. Each session we will explore a different aspect of our being through the mandala process. Each workshop is independent so you can attend any one or all.
