An exploration of the mystical Sri Yantra. We learn to draw the yantra using sacred geometry and understand the symbology of this great Divine Mother principle
A Yantra is a geometric design acting as a highly efficient tool for contemplation, concentration and meditation. They serve as centering devices or as symbolic compositions of the energy pattern of a deity as seen by Tantric seers in their vision.
The Sri Yantra is a mystical diagram with a deep spiritual meaning. It is called the “queen of yantras”and is the symbol of the great divine mother principle, the source of all energy, power, and creativity. Its design is regarded as the representation of the universe as well as the body of the goddess related to the feminine principle of shakti or energy. The worship of Devi in Sri Chakra is regarded as the highest form of Devi worship.
The Tantra says that the worship of any deity can be conducted in Sri Chakra as this is the foundation. The Chakra is generally regarded as auspicious, beneficent leading to inner and outer abundance.
Drawing Yantras activates both hemispheres of the brain and can be a tool for concentration, focus and connecting with the Divine.
